The Bainbridge Township Fire Department is led
into action by Chief Brian A. Phan, who has
served the department since 1983. President Michael Swigonski directs the
Fire Company business. Our department has 44 volunteer professionals including a Chief,
two Assistant Chiefs, three Captains, three Lieutenants, 11 Fire Safety Inspectors and 30
paramedics make up this highly motivated organization. Many of our members are career
firefighters in nearby communities which enables us to have an "All Star Team"
of various expertise. To cover the 1300+ emergency requests a year, we are staffed with at
least 3 part-time members 24 hours a day, everyday . Volunteers respond from home to
supplement our manpower. Our station was renovated in 1998 with offices, living
quarters and dormitories to facilitate part-time staffing.
