BURNING PERMITS OPEN BURNING POLICY Burning permits will only be issued to those presenting a copy of such a permit from the Ohio EPA or Lake County General Health District. Requests for burning permits must contain the following: The Bainbridge Township Fire Department will not issue any burning permits in the restricted area as defined by the Ohio EPA and will issue permits to only homeowners disposing of agricultural waste products or ceremonial fires in the unrestricted area. Requests for EPA permits must be made to the Air Pollution Control Supervisor at 440-350-2543 of the Lake County General Health District - 33 Mill Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077. The application can be obtained here. Requests for permits from the Bainbridge Township Fire Department are to be made in person between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. weekdays at the Fire Station, 17822 Chillicothe Road. The following conditions are placed on permits in addition to those by the
